Historic South Side Sanctuary

-The host was polite and always responded to our questions. He was also helpful as we organize our large family in the same home. It was my youngest son's wedding. Staying in the same home meant a lot, to us all. Thanks-The large kitchen allowed space to prepare our meals, this included kitchen supplies. To make sure nothing was needed, I brought some of my own supplies. My mixer was the only thing that seemed need, but I could have mixed by hand.-Two different nights, the adults were able to sit around the largest dining room table, as we snacked and shared their growing up stories. - We used every bedroom and every bathroom. The washer and dryer were also used. Parking worked nicely, for the four with really small cars, that parked close. - Everything seemed clean, but one of the large dressers had some of the last guest clothes in it. -This is not our first trip our family has taken together, but we all seemed to agree, the 3rd floor bedrooms were appreciated.

Comfortable accommodations for an extended family group in a very unique house. Great kitchen and dining set up. Well supplied. Our family enjoyed the accommodations as much as we did being together!

This is a beautiful property with character and well-kept. Very large, can easily accommodate a large group. Owners excellent communication. Interesting neighborhood, big dog-friendly, walkable to cafes, restaurants, grocers, pharmacies, some other shops, and some entertainment (we saw music on the lawn, bowling and video arcade, bus tours, music at Hofbrauhaus, make your own art venues).

The rental was better than expected and a true surprise. Love the attention to details and the really quick response when one of the windows did not retract. Our family was in Pittsburgh for a wedding and we had a great time being together. I doubt we would have found the trip as enjoyable had we stayed in separate hotel rooms.

This was our annual sibling get-together and the house was perfect, with plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed spending time at the wonderful dining table, talking, reminiscing, playing games and making plans. We walked to restaurants which are numerous and varied. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. It was easy to communicate with our host if we needed anything.
